Announcement, Announcement, Announcement

WE ARE 3 MONTHS PREGNANT!

On July 15th I woke up and was starting to get frustrated again about my little friend being so inconsistent and not showing up. For the last 4 or 5 months with my periods I took pregnancy test because they were late or early. SO, the disappointment of waiting for my period or being pregnant was getting rather annoying. In July I was only 3 days late but, I decided to jump the gun anyways and take a prego test. I took it before work on a wednesday- sleepy and groggy and all! It was positive, but I was not about to trust a 2 month old test from Europe! Even though I was already late to work I stopped by Safeway to get a couple more tests. (do you know how uncomfortable and awkward it is to go to the check out by yourself and have only 2 prego tests and a huge chocolate bar at 6:30 in the morning!) AWKWARD!

All 3 ended up positive and I kept my secret from Daniel all day long. Then when I got home I filled underneath the comforter with baby pacifiers, the tests and a handmade sign that said in big letters "BRING OUT THE PACIFIERS YOU'RE GOING TO BE A DADDY!!!" I covered the blanket back up and waited for Daniel to get home. It was hard to keep a straight face so when he came in I said "come cuddle with me" and then I quickly turned over to hide my face. Daniel was speechless when he turned the blanket down. All he said was "what is this". I know rather disapponting but, that is where our little story begins. We hugged and chatted for a while and then I remembered we needed to take pictures of the moment. (my memory is already going because of the pregnancy). Luckily, I haven't had any symptoms that have given me away the last 3 months. Just headaches, bloating at night and slight weight gain, which was already happening with my yucky meds. Oh, yes and the meds. I cut them cold turkey 2 days after we found out and deleted my drs number from my phone. So far, so good...Hopefully I will never have to go back!

We are due at the beginning of March. We are not finding out the sex or revealing our due date to anyone. I will not be getting induced and do not need any friend or family member reminding me that I am still 9 months pregnant! :)

On a different note we are accepting suggesting for names for both sexes. SO suggest away!

Please no "c" "k" or names that have a hard "n" at the end, they sound horrid with our last name!

Congrats! Glad to have been a little part of the "secret"... haha. I've got some tree named friends and have thought they were pretty cool - Oak, Maple, and I also know a Bear.
